Emerging Dancehall star, Lennox Lindo aka Lyndo, has proven himself as one of the most promising up-and-comers within Bounty Killer’s Alliance staple. However, as the case with many other Alliance artistes, rumors and controversy surround Lyndo as he aims to breakthrough within the Dancehall/Reggae industry.
Rumors circulated, via a web forum, that fellow young Alliance deejay and ANG member, Iyara, has written the words to a few of Lyndo’s songs. Known for his lyrical ingenuity, Lyndo insists that he is the sole author of his songs.
“Nut’n nuh go so…I am my own writer; I write on ma pc & sometimes I jus’ buil’ ma tunes in ma head, me too intelligent fi have someone writing 4 me u zimi…jus some ppl tryin to kill what’s building, so me bun friends, a family di ting deh u c dat…Progress me a deal wid and positivity,” Lyndo explained.
Lyndo’s newest single, Dem Start Di War, added fuel to the recent months of tension existing between the Gullyside and Alliance songs. The single, aimed at Gully Squad deejay, G-Star, served notice that he was no artiste to play around with. According to Lyndo, with encouragement from Iyara, he stepped to the plate in defense of the Alliance.
