A number of security guards involved in the controversial beating of a University of Technology (UTECH) in Kingston have been removed from duty as the tertiary institution is in damage control as a result of the incident.
Social media sites are still abuzz regarding the beating of a male UTECH student inside a classroom by on-site security guards after they caught him and another male student in the school’s bathroom. The two men were allegedly caught in a compromising position, accused of engaging in sexual intercourse by fellow students.
Once word got out about the incident, an angry mob of students gathered outside a classroom where security guards had taken one of the men to address the situation. Moments later, a camera caught the security personnel kicking, punching and draping the man while they shielded him from the mob outside.
The other man reportedly escaped the crowd and security before they could locate him.Click Here To Read More
