People worldwide who know about love know that it is an easy thing to embrace, but can sometimes be hard to find. In keeping with that theme, one American producer has embedded his multicultural roots into a new rhythm in which he finds his ‘Lost Love.’
Born in Boston but residing in Orlando, Shastri Ramjattan is indeed a worldly producer; having Trinidadian parents and an East Indian ancestry who has produced hip-hop and R&B beats over his seven-year career. Now he has crafted a Reggae enthused project, the Lost Love Riddim, which features touches of an R&B sound, bass-pounding instrumentals and material fit for any intimate setting.
To ensure people of all cultures can feel this ‘love,’ Ramjattan has enlisted the services of many artists from all corners of the Earth in order to ensure this rhythm possessed that multicultural feel. Included amongst the features on Lost Love include multitalented Toronto-based Jamaican artist, Alty B who teams Montreal-based Reggae singer, Ebony Royal on a sensuous duet, Leaving You which tells the tale of a relationship on the brink which is sure to establish an emotional connection with music lovers universally.
Another promising Montreal-based act, Clinton Sly pays homage to the special women who possess the physical and emotional attributes to wow any man with Something You Got while Guyanese ‘ragga techno’ specialist, Prakz makes his presence felt with the love-enthused single, Feelings who shows a more sensual side for the ladies in need of comfort from their significant others.
Sri Lankan born songstress, Lady Pista gives a heartfelt performance on the rhythm with her impassionate effort, No Other while Italian Reggae singer, Nico Royale preaches positivity and levity with his single, One Life. Other artists featured on the Riddim include Prince Karby, Sikani, Iesha as well as Nuchi with his sparkling effort, Special You Are and many more promising young musicians who showcase their hunger and passion for music on the compilation.
The Lost Love Riddim will officially be released on October 8 and will be available for purchase across various digital music downloading platforms.
