Chronixx to appear on the Tonight Show next Tuesday

Chronixx 2014Prominent Jamaican singer, Chronixx is set for his first appearance on prime time American television as he is set to perform at NBC’s The Tonight Show on Tuesday.

The universally-regarded Reggae musician, who is currently in the final stages of the U.S. leg of his Dread and Terrible tour, will be appearing on the late night talk show, hosted by veteran comedian, Jimmy Fallon, to help promote his recently-released EP of the same name. The artist, whose real name is Jamar McNaughton, will be performing alongside his Zinc Fence Redemption band.

Chronixx’s Dread and Terrible tour began in Amsterdam on March 27, and has seen him perform in cities such as Munich, Dortmund, Berlin, Vienna, Paris and Stockholm. The American part of his tour kicked off on May 25 and has seen the singer make stops in New York, Florida, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Boston and Maryland, among other cities. His appearance on The Tonight Show precedes his closing show on the tour: Summer Stage at New York’s Central Park on July 26.

Prior to next week’s shows, Chronixx and his Zinc Fence band scheduled to perform at International Night 1 of Reggae Sumfest 2014 tonight. He is featured on a bill that includes Beenie Man, Jah Cure, Shuga and Jesse Royal as well as American singer, Jason Derulo and American rap superstar, Wiz Khalifa.

Meanwhile, Chronixx is set for several festivals across Europe throughout the remainder of the summer, including shows in France, Germany, Croatia, Spain, Slovakia and Denmark, with the European leg of the Dread and Terrible tour concluding on Sept. 6.
