Dudsymil goes the distance with ‘Never Too Far’

Dudsymil Never Too FarEmerging international star, Dudsymil is back with a vengeance, bringing extra heat to the summer with the release of the video for his latest single, Never Too Fardirected by Debbie Deer.

The song was co-written by Dudsymil and Toronto’s James de Pinho, and produced by Beta One Music.  Never Too Far touches on the theme of love and loyalty against all odds, with the video perfectly depicting these elements. Dudsymil and the lead lady in the video, Miss Universe Canada 2014 contestant, Denise Cortez depict ideal chemistry, showcasing a grown and sexy vibe that allows viewers to connect with the song and the characters they portray.

With booming instrumentals combining elements of Reggae and pop music, Dudsymil leaves it all out there in his lyrics, saying, ‘Waking up to your morning grin, I’m so in love with the love we’re in, try all yuh want girl, mi cyaah stop looking at you; You ask me about all the things that I love, I say I’m just grateful for you just because, I’m caught in your love and I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”

Filmed all across the Greater Toronto Area, including along the waters of the Toronto Harbourfront, Never Too Far enables your imagination to set sail on a journey that’s worth the effort.  Picturesque scenery, scintillating vocals and a complimenting beat set the perfect scene for music lovers to enjoy.

Never Too Far is just the latest in a string of positive movements for Dudsymil, releasing songs such as Day One and Raptors We Go Hard, a remake on his collaborative hit with S’stylesWe Go Hard, done during the Toronto Raptors NBA playoff run. He also managed to secure media attention in Brazil during the recent 2014 FIFA World Cup in the South American country, performing some of Never Too Far as he gave locals an up-close look at his talent.

Looking to further solidify his credentials as an international artist, Dudsymil features on soon-to-be-released EDM single, Happy Tonight, featuring Reggae star, Turbulence. The song is produced by Beta One and Toronto’s DJ Constantine, much accomplished radio host and author of projects such as the French Kiss Riddim. Additionally, Dudsymil is featured alongside Sizzla, Alkaline and more on the newly-released Happy Buzz Riddim, co-produced by Ghetto Lynx Records and Wasp Records. 

Never Too Far shows the distance Dudsymil is willing to go to take his career to the next level, with the single sure to blaze the airwaves; already getting promotion from DJs such as DJ Super G on the Miami Vice: Dancehall Episode mixtape and DJ Fella. The video for the song can be seen across various forms of online media and is a great way to celebrate the summer and beyond.
