Acclaimed reggae singer, Jah9 is planning to release her second studio album in early 2016.
The singer, whose real name is Janine Cunningham, made waves with her debut album, New Name in 2013, with the single of the same name making her a force to be reckoned with in the reggae music industry. She has yet announce a title or track listing for the compilation.
Since then, Jah9 has released hits such as Steamers a Bubble, Jungle and Avocado and is now promoting her newest single, The Marijuana. Long a proponent of the health benefits of marijuana, Jah9 touches on several positive aspects about the herb in the single, insisting that it will help educate and inspire those intrigued by it.
Meanwhile, Jah9 is preparing to embark on her Harvest Moon tour later this month, where she will make stops in California and Colorado.
