Warrior KingAcclaimed reggae singer, Warrior King says he is set to release his fifth studio album, Warrior King: The Roots Warrior this July, insisting he wants to reingratiate himself with his Jamaican fans while claiming politics within the local music scene has prevented him from being more of a presence on mainstream radio.

The singer, known for hits such as Empress So Divine, Hold The Faith, Never Go Where Pagans Go and Virtuous Woman and others says he has been building more of a following overseas, suggesting in a recent interviewthat there’s ‘less politics’ in dealing with industry players abroad.

This will mark Warrior King’s first album since his 2011 compilation, Tell Me How Me Sound, distributed by Tad’s Record, which featured notables such as Melody, Empress and I Can See It, featuring Barrington Levy. The singer promises several videos and press for the album.

In the meantime, Warrior King continues to tour worldwide, including across Europe, North America and Oceania. This month, he is expected to perform a slew of shows in France, Germany and Austria.
