Chronixx Dread and TerribleReggae superstar, Chronixx has topped Billboard for the first time in his very promising career, reaching the peak of the American magazine’s Reggae Albums chart this week with his much talked about, Dread & Terrible EP.

The 10-track EP, which features hits such as Here Comes Trouble and Spirulina was released in April and showcases some previously unreleased material as well as dub versions of singles such as Alpha and Omega. This news comes nearly two weeks after Chronixx was the featured performer on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he performed the aforementioned Here Comes Trouble as parts of Modern Day Judas and Reverence by fellow Reggae crooners, Jesse Royal and Jah9 respectively.

Since his performance on the show, sales for the EP have drastically improved, with over 5,000 units sold, according to Nielsen Soundscan, compared to a paltry 400 that were sold prior to his Tonight Show appearance.

The Dread & Terrible EP leads a chart that features American Reggae band Rebelution at number two with their album, Count Me In while British-Jamaican singer, Maxi Priest (Easy To Love), Ziggy Marley (Fly Rasta) and Loved Ones round out the top five.

Chronixx concluded the U.S. leg of his Dread and Terrible tour in July at Central Park in New York City and is currently touring Europe, with the singer expected to make stops in the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland and Spain, among other countries.
