Riding a wave of popularity as well a slew of creditable songs and performances, Gully Bop is set for his first overseas tour after reportedly securing international work permits ahead of an array of shows, starting in March.
According to various reports, the deejay will be heading to Canada and the United Kingdom on the upcoming tour, as well as several Caribbean islands. Some of Gully Bop’s stops are a three-week tour of France slated to commence May 12th before heading for the United States for shows in July. Grenada, St. Maarten will be among some of his Caribbean stops.
Additionally, Gully Bop will be launching a new T-shirt line later this year, with a percentage of earnings going to local charities.
These ventures mark a new stepping stone for the entertainer, who only three months ago was an unknown commodity who suddenly gained attention virally following a freestyle video posted on YouTube.
Since then, Gully Bop has arguably become the talk of the local music industry, having released songs such as Body Specialist and My God Dem Nuh Bad Like Me while also giving a solid performance at STING 2014 last December. The deejay is managed by fiancee, Shauna Chin, who offered her services to the artist shortly after his rise to stardom.
