Internationally acclaimed reggae singer, Jah Cure has announced that his upcoming studio album, The Cure will be released on July 10.
The 13-track set will be the first album Cure has released since the well-received World Cry in 2013. It features elements of reggae, dancehall, pop and lover’s rock, with the standout track on the complilation being his cover of John Legend’s chart-topping hit, All Of Me. Other notables on the album include his hit singles, That Girl andLife We Live as well as Rasta, I Surrender and Made In California.
Cure also holds production credits on the album along with Christopher ‘Sketch’ Carey, Clive Hunt, Llemar “Riff Raff” Brown, Justin ‘Jus Bus’ Nation and Trevor ‘Baby G’ Washington.
The singer was recently hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “a brilliant crooner of Bob Marley-esque love-and-peace reggae,” while National Public Radio (NPR) described him as “a voice that sounds as if he’s wringing out passion from every note.”
Jah Cure’s previous efforts include Ghetto Cure, The Universal Cure and arguably his most popular album to date,True Reflections…A New Beginning. His most recent project, World Cry featured the likes of Jazmine Sullivan and Mavado.
