Rick Ross, the artiste who shot to stardom after the release of his 2006 album, Port of Miami and who dominated the charts with songs like Push it and Hustling is all set to make his debut appearance in Jamaica this summer. As part of the star-studded line-up planned for Lime Beenie Man Sizzle to be held at the National Stadium on Saturday, Rick Ross is expected to deliver a superb showing belting out his major hits.

According to Beenie Man, he is pulling out all the stops to ensure that fans walk away from this show thinking it was the best one they’ve ever been to.

“This year I’m celebrating 30 years in the music. I am putting my all into this show because it is for my fans who have supported me over the years. I have put together a solid line-up that I believe the fans will like,” Beenie said.

“Rick Ross is one of the big names in rap music, he has never performed in Jamaica so having him as part of my show is a big deal,” he added.

Beenie Man also disclosed that the plans for the show were underway and everything was going well.

Rick Ross has collaborated with several major players in the music business including Nelly, T-Pain, Nas and John Legend. He is looking forward to coming to Jamaica and supporting Beenie Man’s annual event.

Ross is also planning to release his fourth studio album entitled Teflon Don which has been confirmed on some of his websites. It is set to be released in early 2010. He is also working on a collaboration with the Triple C’s entitled Custom Cars and Cycles which is set to be released in 2010.
