This makes him the third major radio personality to join Mello, after Barrington “Barry G” Gordon, who joined the station in 2011 and whose show will follow Muschette’s at the 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. slot, as well as Richard ‘Richie B’ Burgess, who has been a regular fixture on morning radio since joining.

Fighting back tears at times, Muschette explained that it was ‘time to go,’ but still loves the station that made him a star within the local media industry since the turn of the millenium.
“Thanks to all the many people… we had a very good run on the Wake Up Call,” he said. “Just like any relationship, parting doesn’t mean you don’t love each other anymore, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.”
