Spice started an internet controversy where many fans were wondering did she bleach her skin. She has always said how much she loved her skin, but did she really go as far as to bleach her skin to be accepted.
Spice had a much bigger picture in mind. Once the single “Black Hypocrisy” was released it was evident she not bleach but rather brought attention to a much bigger topic. “Colorism” has been a huge problem in the black community. People speak about the “lighter chick” getting treated better. Spice who has made it clear that she has no management, used a creative marketing strategy and made her point. This marketing Strategy has landed her at Billboard with the number one Reggae Album.
